Before my 10-day trip to Kauai in February, 2010, I researched the "Best of Kauai" and decided that my goal was to have lunch at the Fish Hut. I was not disappointed! I had the fish and chips. The super crunchy (panko bread crumbs?) coating on the fish was excellent and the fish perfectly cooked. Great fries and very mild coleslaw – perfection. I'm from Mississippi, where we know how to cook catfish. This fish and chips was WONDERFUL! I can't wait to go back to the Fish Hut on my next trip to paradise…
I took my family to eat at the Fish Hut on a Saturday night and we were very pleased with the food, the price, and the friendly service. We had the Fish and Chips, the Shrimp and Chips, and the Shave ICE and we all loved what we had!! If you are looking for fancy, this ain't it. If you are looking for good, fresh, hot, and affordable, this IS it. We will probably go back again before we leave Kauai.
